About Sunday Funday
Simply put, Sunday Funday is a day of relaxation and fun in the sun at the Panther Island Pavilion beach venue. The daily beach activities continue into the weekend with pedal boat rentals along with kayaks, paddleboards, and canoes from Backwoods Paddlesports. Loaner tubes are available with ID. Bring your own tube or raft and float in the roped-off swimming area. Local food truck and beer concessions available on site both Saturday and Sunday. Free parking and beach admission.

In partnership with Blue Morpho Yoga, Jordan Palmer teaches an All Levels Vinyasa Flow style class which allows yogis to find their comfort level for each pose. All levels welcome. The classes typically include some light stretching and twisting, balancing, and flow, with time for stillness and peace. Bring a mat, sweat towel, and water. Begins on the Coors Light waterfront stage on a first come first serve basis.

Based on the governor’s recent guidance, tube rentals will not be available to further notice. However, the public beach will be open and you are welcome to bring your own float or tube. Loaner tubes are available with ID.
With your health and safety our primary concern, we will be adhering to the State of Texas executive orders regarding beaches, parks, bodies of water, and water parks and will work to provide the best possible experience for all. In an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19, we will be operating at limited capacity. Some, but not all, safety precautions include masks required for service and when in common areas (may be removed at the picnic table, within the white square on the lawn or on water); hand sanitizing stations throughout the Panther Island Pavilion beach area; cleaning and sanitizing recreational water equipment after use; disinfecting hard surfaces such as porta-potties, picnic tables, and chairs; social distancing observed in seating and food and beverage lines; posters reminding everyone to follow social distancing; contactless payment options and all event staff wearing PPE if within 6 feet of customers. No reservations necessary to attend Sunday Funday. Yoga classes are on a first come first serve basis.
Children less than 30" tall will not be allowed in the water. All children 12 and under must wear a life jacket. Life jackets are available on site and generously provided by Cabela's and Tarrant Regional Water District (TRWD). Lifeguards will be on duty, however, all attendees enter the river at their own risk.
Sunday Funday is held at Panther Island Pavilion located at 395 Purcey Street, Fort Worth, TX 76102. Pull in the main parking lot, drive through the gate under the bridge and park in grass near large pavilion.
